For this first activity, I changed completely what I thought I was going to do!
I thought I was going to practice tracking or trucking, coneying a sense of anxiety or rashness, but after thinking about it I opted for implementing point of view for my practice. What I still kept was that idea of cretaing a feeling of anxiety, but in. amuch mor inmersive way - with POV.
What I tried to achieve was to show the character’s emotions without showing their face, using the camera to represent their eyes and creating a stronger sense of immersion and connection between the character and the audience.
So... How did I do it? Well, I used my phone in 0.5 mode and attached it to my head with a headband. I had to try different angles until the shots looked natural and correct.
This is how I looked while filming... it was very funny!

At the beginning, I wanted to show a character having a sort of panic attack, and to recreate that I tried to make unstable camera movements and I added later on with editing non-diegetic sounds such as raising heartbeats and heavy breathing. Later on, as the video continues, the character sees the boy and begins to calm down, and in this case, I chose to lower those sounds and add soft music to show this change of emotion in the character having the panic attack.
In conclusion, my main aim with this activity was to show emotion in a character without necessarily showing their face, having to put a much greater intention into the sound effects, background music and camera movements of the point of view, and I believe that I was actually able to conclude with the task in a very good way! Always with things to perfect and correct but overall not bad!

I hope you like it!
